Questions about enhancing photos
9 questionsYes. You get 10 free credits every day and an enhance starts at 2 credits, so that is 5 free enhanced photos a day. After that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits, and nothing you download has a watermark.
Dark and night shots, haze, grain and noise, soft focus and light motion blur, washed-out colour, and faded old prints. Pick a mode or just upload and let Auto decide.
No. Faces, people and the framing are kept as they are. Only light, colour, sharpness and noise change, so everyone still looks like themselves.
Yes, for soft focus and a slightly shaky hand. A photo that is badly out of focus comes back much clearer, but detail that was never captured cannot be invented exactly.
Yes. Faded colour, stains and softness on scanned prints are cleaned up. For deep tears and missing pieces, use Restore old photo, which is made for that.
Yes. Choose 1K, 2K or 4K output. 4K is sharp enough to print and frame.
None here. Photos, screenshots, product shots and scans all go through the same enhancer.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC up to 20 MB. On the free credits, what you make stays in your Studio for 30 days, so download the ones you want to keep. On a plan or with a pack, it is kept while you use PixEnhancer and for 90 days after.
Yes. Pictures you enhance are yours to use in listings, ads, prints and social posts.
Pricing questions
7 questionsCredit packs never expire. Subscription credits renew each month, and unused ones roll over for one extra month. Free credits expire: today's free credits end at midnight UTC. Credits closest to expiry are used first.
You get the credits back automatically. That covers model errors, timeouts and edits blocked by the safety filter. You never pay for an image you didn't get.
Yes. Your first purchase, a plan or a credit pack, is fully refundable within 3 days if you used less than 20% of its credits. Renewals, upgrades and later purchases are not refunded. See the refund policy for details.
Open Account → Plan and billing and choose Manage subscription. You keep your credits and plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Yes, on every plan including free. Images have no watermark. You are responsible for having the rights to the photos you upload.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. Some countries also see local methods at checkout.
Stripe emails a receipt for every payment, and you can download invoices from Account → Plan and billing. For team or volume pricing, email us.
Questions about removing backgrounds
8 questionsYes. You can remove 3 backgrounds a day without an account. A free account also collects 10 credits a day, enough for 10 more cut-outs at 1 credit each. After that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits, and a failed cut-out gives its credit back.
Yes. Download a transparent PNG, or switch to JPG and pick white, grey, black or any colour. Changing the colour after the cut-out is free and instant.
Any photo with a clear main subject: a person, a pet, a product, a car. Phone photos are fine. A subject that stands out from what is behind it gives the cleanest edge.
Yes. Hair and fur edges are followed closely, so most cut-outs need no clean-up. Very fine wisps of hair against a busy background are the hardest case; a plainer backdrop helps.
Only from large photos. Without an account, a photo is scaled to about 2 megapixels before the cut-out. Sign in to keep more of the detail.
Yes. Press New background after the cut-out, or open Background changer and say where it should be.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Yes. Pictures you make are yours to use for listings, ads and social posts, with no watermark.
Questions about changing backgrounds
9 questionsYes, with a free account. It collects 10 credits a day and a new background costs 4 credits, so 2 background changes a day are free. Beyond that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a change fails, the credits come back on their own.
Any photo where the main subject is clear: a person, a pet, a product, a car. Phone photos are fine. Very dark or very blurry photos work better after a quick Enhance first.
Say where it should be, in plain words: “on a beach at sunset”, “plain white with a soft shadow”, “a cosy kitchen with plants”. You can add the light or the season too. Or tap one of the scene chips.
No. Edges are kept from the original photo, so flyaway hair, fur and see-through glass stay soft instead of getting a hard sticker outline.
Yes. The shadow and the colour of the light are drawn to match the new place, so a shoe on a sunset beach gets a warm, long shadow.
No. Only the background is replaced. Faces, logos, labels and the colours of the subject stay as they were.
Yes. Ask for any colour, or use Remove background to download a transparent PNG.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes. Pictures you make are yours to use for listings, ads and social posts, with no watermark.
Questions about removing objects
8 questionsEach removal costs 2 credits, and a free account collects 10 credits a day, enough for 5 free removals. After that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a removal fails, the credits come back on their own.
Paint over it with the brush. You don’t have to be neat: cover the whole thing with a little margin. You can change the brush size, undo a stroke or erase part of it before you run.
Yes. Paint over everything that should go, then run it once. If something is left behind, brush over it and run again.
Whatever would most likely be there: more sand, more floor, more wall. Plain and repeating backgrounds fill in most cleanly; large objects in front of busy detail can take a second pass.
No. The work is aimed at the area you paint, and the parts you leave unpainted are meant to stay as they were.
Large photos are cleaned at up to 2,048 pixels on the long side, plenty for posts and listings. For a big print, run the result through Image upscaler.
Yes, by painting over them. Remove people from photo also lets you just say who should go, without brushing.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Questions about removing people
8 questions2 credits per photo. A free account collects 10 credits a day, which clears people from 5 photos at no cost; after that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. A failed removal gives its credits back.
Type it in plain words, like “the man in the red jacket” or “the tourists behind us”, or tap a suggestion. Leave the box empty and everyone behind the main subject is cleared.
Switch to Brush and paint over exactly the people who should go. Brush mode is the most precise choice in a busy group.
Yes. Describe them all, leave the box empty for everyone in the background, or brush over each of them before you run.
Whatever would most likely be behind them: more sand, more pavement, more of the building. Plain and repeating backgrounds fill in most cleanly; a person in front of busy detail can take a second pass.
Large photos are cleaned at up to 2,048 pixels on the long side, plenty for posts and albums. For a big print, run the result through Image upscaler.
This tool is tuned for people. For bins, signs and clutter, Object remover works the same way with a brush.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Questions about upscaling
8 questionsYes. 2× is free 3 times a day without an account, and a free account collects 10 credits a day on top. With credits, 2× costs 1 credit, 4× costs 2 credits and Pro 4× costs 10 credits. More credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits, and a failed run gives its credits back.
2× is plenty for sharing and most screens. 4× is for prints, posters and big displays. Pro 4× is the most careful option, for the photos that matter most.
Up to 8,192 pixels on the long side. A photo that is already large is brought down first so the result fits. The finished size shows before you start.
It rebuilds edges and texture as the photo grows, so mild softness usually comes out crisp. For heavy shake or missed focus, try Unblur first, then upscale.
An extra option for photos where faces are very blurry. It smooths skin, so leave it off for sharp photos, freckles and drawings.
Only from large photos. Without an account, a photo is scaled to about 2 megapixels before it’s upscaled. Sign in for the biggest result.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Yes. Pictures you make are yours to use for prints, listings, ads and social posts, with no watermark.
Questions about restoring photos
8 questionsYes, 5 old photos a day. Restoring one costs 2 credits, and a free account collects 10 credits every day. For a whole album, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a run fails, the credits come back on their own.
Creases, tears, scratches, dust spots, stains, cracks and fading. Where a piece of the photo is missing completely, the gap is filled with a best guess, so look closely before you print.
It shouldn’t. It is made to keep each person looking like themselves. On very small or badly damaged faces some detail has to be guessed, so compare the result with the original.
Yes. Pick colour as the tone and natural colours are added. Colours the photo can’t show, like a dress or a car, are a best guess. You can also keep the original tone, or choose black and white or sepia.
Yes. With the original tone, black-and-white photos stay black and white and faded colour photos get their colours back.
Scan it, or lay it flat and take a photo with your phone in even daylight, without glare or a flash. Fill the frame with the print.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes, there is no watermark. For a large print, run the restored photo through the Image upscaler first.
Questions about colorizing photos
8 questionsYes. Without an account you can colorize 3 photos a day for free. A free account also collects 10 credits a day, enough for 5 more at 2 credits each; after that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a run fails, the credits come back on their own.
Not to colorize. Signed out, your photo is scaled to about 2 megapixels before it goes in. Sign in to work at a larger size and to switch on Repair damage too.
Skin, sky, grass and wood come out natural. Colours the photo can’t show, like a dress or a car, are a best guess, so treat the result as a believable version, not a record.
Switch on Repair damage too and scratches, tears and fading are fixed in the same run, for 2 credits. It needs an account. With it off, the grain and damage stay as they are.
No. Faces, grain and framing stay as they are. Only colour is added.
Yes. Sepia and faded brown prints work as well as black and white. For a faded colour photo, use Photo restoration and keep the original tone to bring its own colours back.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Yes. There is no watermark. For a large print, run the result through the Image upscaler first.
Questions about blurring backgrounds
8 questionsYes. A free account collects 10 credits a day, and a blurred background costs from 2 credits, so up to 5 photos a day cost nothing. More credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits; if a run fails, they come back on their own.
Yes. It is told to keep the subject, their face and the hair edges as they are and only blur what is behind. The result is generated, so check the edges; if something is off, run it again.
Yes. Pick Subtle blur for a soft background, Strong blur for a portrait-mode look, or Light bokeh to turn the lights behind you into soft circles.
Yes. Say who should stay sharp, for example “keep both people in front sharp” or “keep the whole family in focus”.
Yes. Anything with a clear subject in front works: pets, products, food, a bike, a cake. For a pet, pick the Pets tile.
Yes. For a new scene, use the Background changer. For a transparent PNG, use Remove background.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.

Questions about removing text
8 questionsYes, on up to 5 photos a day. Removing text costs from 2 credits, and a free account collects 10 credits every day. After that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. A failed run gives its credits back.
Captions, date stamps, prices, labels and handwriting on top of a photo, and printed text on signs or packaging in your own pictures. Say which text if you only want some of it gone.
The photo is told to fill in what would have been behind the text, such as the table, the sky or the wall. Busy patterns behind large text are the hardest; if a patch looks off, run it again.
It shouldn’t. It is told to keep everything else as it is. The result is generated, so check small details like faces and product labels before you use it.
Yes. Pick Caption, Date stamp or Price tag and only that kind of text is removed. For anything more specific, like keeping the shop sign, use the AI Image Editor and say what should stay.
Only with the rights to them. Use it on photos you took or have the rights to. Do not use it to strip credits, names or marks from someone else’s work.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes, for photos you own. The cleaned image is yours to use in listings, ads and posts.
Questions about extending photos
8 questionsYes, with a free account: it collects 10 credits a day, and extending a photo costs from 2 credits, so up to 5 photos a day are free. Credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits when you need more, and a failed run gives its credits back.
Pick 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2 or 2:3 on the card. The new frame is filled by carrying the scene on past the edges of your photo.
It shouldn’t. It is told to keep the original unchanged in the middle and only add around it. The result is generated, so check faces and small details; if something moved, run it again.
Not on this page: the scene is carried on as it is. To ask for something, like more beach on the left or sky above for a title, use the AI Image Editor.
Skies, sea, fields, walls, streets and tables extend most naturally. Busy scenes with many people near the edge are harder; for those, use the AI Image Editor and say what should be there.
Yes. Take the extended photo to the Image upscaler to enlarge it 2× or 4× for print or a large screen.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes. Photos you extend are yours to use in listings, ads and posts, with no watermark.
Questions about editing photos with AI
8 questionsYes, for up to 5 edits a day. A free account collects 10 credits daily and an edit costs from 2 credits. When you need more, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits; a failed edit gives its credits back.
Almost anything you can describe: the season, the weather, the light, the background, clothes, colours and art style. You can also ask for things to be taken out or added.
Say the change in plain words, like “make it a snowy winter evening” or “change the jacket to red”. Adding what should stay the same, like “keep the faces as they are”, helps.
It shouldn’t. It is made to keep the rest of the photo as it was. Big changes, like a new season, can shift small details, so if something moved that shouldn’t have, say so and run it again.
Yes. Say what should go, like “remove the bin”. To mark the exact spot with a brush instead, use Object remover.
Yes. Make one change, then keep going from the result with the next sentence. One change at a time usually gives the cleanest result.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes. Pictures you edit are yours to use in listings, ads and posts, with no watermark.
Questions about generative fill
8 questionsEach fill costs 2 credits. With the 10 credits a free account collects every day, that is 5 fills a day for free; more credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a fill fails, the credits come back on their own.
Paint over the spot, then describe the thing in a few words: “a vase of yellow tulips”, “a brass floor lamp”, “a clear blue sky”. Colour, material and size help.
Yes. Paint over the thing you want to swap and write what should be there instead, such as “a navy wool jacket” over a red one.
No. The fill is aimed at the area you paint, and the result is blended back so the parts you leave unpainted stay as they were.
Paint a slightly bigger area, add a detail or two to the description, and run it again. Each run is a fresh attempt.
Large photos are worked on at up to 2,048 pixels on the long side. For a big print, run the result through Image upscaler.
Requests for nude or sexual images are refused before any credits are spent. Use it on photos you took or have the rights to.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB.
Questions about AI photo filters
8 questionsFrom 2 credits per photo, and a free account collects 10 credits a day, so up to 5 restyles a day are free. Extra credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits. If a run fails, the credits come back on their own.
A normal filter changes colours on top of the same picture. Here the whole image is redrawn in the new style, brush strokes, line art and all.
Mostly, yes. Every style is told to keep faces, pose and composition recognisable. Strong styles like anime change features more; if it drifts, run it again.
The tiles cover watercolour, anime, pencil sketch, 3D cartoon, oil painting and retro film. For a style of your own, like a stained-glass window or a neon poster, describe it in the AI Image Editor.
Yes. Pets, food, buildings and landscapes all work; describe the subject if you want it kept exactly.
Add a second photo next to yours and say “in the style of the second photo”. Use artwork you own or have the rights to.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes, for photos you own. Print them, frame them or use them in your own posts and products.
Questions about enhancing videos
7 questionsIt depends on the length of the clip and the size you pick, from 6 credits up to 210 credits. A 5-second 360p clip made 1080p uses 27 credits. You see the exact price before you start, and if a run fails the credits come back on their own.
Not the free daily credits: they cover photo tools only, because enhancing a video costs far more to run. Videos use credits from a pack or a plan, starting at $4.99 for 60 credits.
From about 2 minutes for a short clip to around 25 for a long one in 4K. You can close the page while it works; the finished video is saved in My Creations.
MP4 or MOV files up to 30 seconds and 50 MB. Clips that are already 4K or sharper don’t need it. For a long clip in 4K, pick a smaller size or trim it first.
Yes. The enhancer works on the picture only, and your video comes back with its sound in time with the picture, so there is nothing to put back in an editor. A clip without sound stays silent.
No. It sharpens what is in the clip and does not redraw people or add objects. Very small or very blurry faces can still come out soft, so check the result before you share it.
Yes. Videos you enhance are yours to use in posts, ads and client work, with no watermark.
Questions about turning photos into videos
7 questionsClips start at 8 credits. The price depends on the model, length and quality you pick, and it shows on the button before you start. If a video fails, the credits come back on their own.
Not with the free daily credits: they cover photo tools, because a video costs far more to make. Video credits come from a pack or a plan, starting at $4.99 for 60 credits.
Clips run 5–10 seconds, depending on the model, and 7 of the 12 models add sound. It takes about 1–2 minutes; you can leave the page and find it in My Creations.
Say what moves and how the camera behaves, in one line: “she turns and smiles, the camera slowly pushes in”. Leave the shortcut in place if you just want gentle, natural motion.
Yes. Pick tall (9:16) or wide (16:9) before you start; the page picks the closer one to your photo for you.
Your photo is the first frame, so faces, clothes and the place carry over. Big movements, like turning all the way round, can still change a face, so keep the motion small for portraits.
Yes. Videos you make are yours to use in posts, ads and client work, with no watermark. Only upload photos you have the right to use.
Questions about removing glare
8 questionsYes. The 10 credits a free account collects each day clear glare from up to 5 photos, at 2 credits or more each. Past that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits, and a failed run gives its credits back.
Yes. It clears the white patches and mirrored windows on the lenses and shows the eyes behind them, keeping the frames and the face as they are.
It can’t see through it: it fills in what is most likely there from the rest of the photo, like the eye colour or the lines of a print. Check small details, and run it again if a patch looks off.
It shouldn’t. It is told to keep everything else as it is. The result is generated, so compare faces, labels and writing with the original before you use it.
Tap Shiny skin. It tones down the bright spots on the forehead, nose and cheeks so the skin looks even, without smoothing it into plastic.
Yes. Pick where the glare is, like Glasses or Picture frame, and only that glare is removed. To keep one shine and lose another, use the AI Image Editor and say it in your own words.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Yes, for photos you own. The cleared image is yours to use in listings, ads and posts.
Questions about unblurring text
8 questionsYes. Making blurry writing readable costs from 2 credits, and a free account collects 10 credits a day, which covers up to 5 photos of text. Beyond that, credits start at $4.99 for 60 credits; a failed run gives its credits back.
If you can just about make out the words, it can usually make them crisp. When letters have melted into smudges, there is nothing left to read, and the result may guess wrong.
Yes. The sharper letters are generated from what is in the photo, so a very blurry number or name can come back as a different one. Check prices, dates and names against the original before you rely on them.
Yes, on handwriting that is readable but soft. Tap Handwriting so the writing style and ink are kept as they are.
It shouldn’t. It is told to keep the layout, the paper and the colours as they are. Only the sharpness of the writing should change.
No. For faces and scenes, use Unblur image, which is tuned for skin, hair and detail rather than letters.
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC photos up to 20 MB. Your results stay in your history, where you can download or delete them.
Only your own. Use it on your own photos and documents. Do not use it to read or copy other people’s private papers.
